Welcome to

E.A.R.T.H._Sustainability_Logo_White_Orange

Together, our pitches plant the future.

Welcome to E.A.R.T.H., but what is it?

In addition to being our only home, E.A.R.T.H. is a movement designed to offset the carbon emissions from our many pitch cycles.

Delivering a pitch requires significant time and resources across the entire RFP cycle. During that time, all participants, from the issuer to the responder, will have generated substantial carbon emissions. E.A.R.T.H. was created to offset emissions from our pitches, from review to response to the presentation stage, be it virtual, live, or hybrid.

Why do we need another E.A.R.T.H.?

Pitching new business is essential. It’s also resource-intensive.

From the first RFP to the final presentation, the pitch cycle generates carbon emissions across every organization involved.

E.A.R.T.H. is an initiative designed to measure, offset, and transform that impact due to the full pitch cycle.

The Pitch Cycle

1

DEVELOPMENT

Creating the RFI/RFP requires time, research, and resources.

2

SUBMISSIONS

Responses demand significant effort, strategy, and production.

3

LIVE PITCHES

Rehearsals, revisions, and travel add to the total footprint.

How It Works

No matter which side of the table you’re on, either issuing an RFP or answering it, you know many resources go into all three phases of the pitch cycle: Issuing. Responding. Pitching. As such, that amount of pitch work produces significant carbon emissions.

MGME has partnered with EverTreen, a global reforestation organization, and together, we’ll endeavor to reduce the carbon footprint of the entire RFP process by calculating our pitch-based carbon emissions and donating to a threatened habitat to offset them.

Together, we developed the world’s first Pitch Carbon Calculator™ to determine how many trees it will take to negate emissions due to the entire pitch process.

Our Commitment

For every RFP we answer, we’ll commit to an RFS, Request For Sustainability.

  • Track emissions across every pitch.
  • Donate to offset the impact.
  • Engage partners and vendors.
  • Continuously improve our process.

Our Request For Sustainability

Together with EverTreen, we invite all companies that participate in the RFP process to do what you can to offset your carbon emissions.
